Engineering plastic ABS is widely used in rapid prototyping of CNC machining. It has good hardness and processing performance. This product structure has 13 hollow designs, the minimum thickness is 1MM, and the dimensional accuracy is required to be ±0.05mm. It is required that the overall product is highly transparent and does not accept any deformation. It is a big challenge for plastic CNC machining prototype products. As we all know, plastic is easily deformed by thermal processing.
About Products
Use high-density transparent ABS for overall CNC machining. After obtaining a prototype, perform drilling processing. The product must be fixed in a custom fixture to prevent deformation during processing. After all sizes are processed, the surface is polished by mirror. Generally, it needs to pass 3 polishings of different degrees to obtain a highly transparent ABS processed product. And wear gloves to make contact during processing to prevent fingerprints.
