Broadly defined blanking: It also includes cutting, notching, grooving, slitting, trimming, tongue trimming, cutting, and finishing processes.

Direct production: It can directly produce flat parts or two-dimensional workpieces.
Material preparation: It can also prepare blanks for subsequent stamping processes such as bending and deep drawing.
